Growing Info
Sowing: Salad turnips are a versatile, fast-growing crop which is well suited to direct sowing. Direct sow undercover or into modules from March. Direct sow outside from April and successionally throughout the year until August. Alternatively, sow into modules.
Spacing: 15cm
Harvest: Jun-Nov, within 6-8 weeks of sowing.
Tips: Try sowing small amounts every 3/4 weeks for a successional harvest throughout the year. Turnips will benefit from a mesh covering to protect against root fly.
Germination: 2026
