Chervil *NEW*

£3.00

Anthriscus cerefolium ~250 seeds.

Chervil, sometimes called French parsley, is a hardy biennial closely related to parsley. Compact plants produce light green feathery leaves which have a refreshing aniseed flavour. If allowed to flower, you will be treated to a lovely display of delicate, tiny white flowers.  Chervil is a tasty addition to salads, omelettes and fish.

Harvest as a cut-and-come-again crop throughout the winter and early spring.

Growing Info:

Sow throughout the year and start harvesting within 10 weeks.

We like to sow ours later in the year as it is well suited to growing overwinter due to its hardiness. For overwintering, sow in late July to August for outside in a relitively seltered, free draining spot. Sow until September if growing undercover.
