Claytonia - Winter Purslane *NEW*
Claytonia perfoliata - approximately 300 seeds.
Also known as miner’s lettuce, this hardy plant can be grown throughout the year. The leaves, stems, and flowers are all edible when young, with a mild flavour and succulent texture that make a perfect addition to winter and spring salads.
Growing Info:
Sow mid to late September. Sow direct in drills or in pots to transplant out. Spacing 10cm between plants, 20cm between rows. Harvest January - April.
Tip: Seeds require cooler soil temperatures to germinate (10 to 12°C).
